This function can fail if the device tree runs out of space. Rather than silently booting with an incomplete device tree, allow the failure to be detected. Unfortunately this involves changing a lot of places in the code. I have not changed behvaiour to return an error where one is not currently returned, to avoid unexpected breakage. Eventually it would be nice to allow boards to register functions to be called to update the device tree. This would avoid all the many functions to do this. However it's not clear yet if this should be done using driver model or with a linker list. This work is left for later. Signed-off-by:

The libfdt.h file is the definition file for libfdt. It is unnecessary to include other fdt header files (the necessary ones are pulled in by libfdt.h). Signed-off-by:

As discussed on the list, move "arch/ppc" to "arch/powerpc" to better match the Linux directory structure. Please note that this patch also changes the "ppc" target in MAKEALL to "powerpc" to match this new infrastructure. But "ppc" is kept as an alias for now, to not break compatibility with scripts using this name. Signed-off-by:

Move to using the environment variables 'ethaddr', 'eth1addr', etc.. instead of bd->bi_enetaddr, bi_enet1addr, etc. This makes the code a bit more flexible to the number of ethernet interfaces. Signed-off-by:

Define the layout of a binary blob that contains a QE firmware and instructions on how to upload it. Add function qe_upload_firmware() to parse the blob and perform the actual upload. Add command-line command "qe fw" to take a firmware blob in memory and upload it. Update ft_cpu_setup() on 85xx to create the 'firmware' device tree node if U-Boot has uploaded a firmware. Fully define 'struct rsp' in immap_qe.h to include the actual RISC Special Registers. Signed-off-by:
